THE REA FOUNDATION
The REA Foundation is the dedicated specialized hospital foundation for the Institut universitaire sur la réadaptation en déficience physique de Montréal (IURDPM). This university institute brings together the Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal, the Centre de réadaptation Lucie-Bruneau and the Institut Raymond-Dewar, all over-specialized in physical rehabilitation.
Together, they provide care for people living with a sensory, language or motor impairment.
What role does REA play in all of this? Our daily motivation is to raise awareness and collect donations for the cause and the Institute.
And because you are definitely asking the question. REA is equivalent to the first three letters of the word RÉAdaptation (rehabilitation in French), because we are there from the first moment. Quite simply.
