The Centre de réadaptation Raymond-Dewar quickly became a very  precious ally.

In January 2018, when our children started receiving help from the Centre de réadaptation Raymond-Dewar, they were facing several language and motor skills challenges. Alexis, 8 years old, was diagnosed with verbal dyspraxia (difficulty producing sound and speech), DLD (developmental language disorder) and DCD (developmental coordination disorder). He was also suffering from health problems that affected his overall development. At the moment, Alicia, 6 years old, is living with verbal dyspraxia as well as certain motor skills difficulties.

The Centre de réadaptation Raymond-Dewar immediately offered us various services. From the very start, we could tell that the staff was touched by our story. Their many specialists spared no effort in providing all the support our family needed. They were compassionate, flexible, inspiring and always kindhearted, which created a strong bond with our children.

Alexis and Alicia really enjoyed the sessions, as they worked on their challenges without even realizing it. There’s no question that the Centre de réadaptation Raymond-Dewar’s existence and mission are crucial for many families like ours. They’ve made such a big difference in our daily life.
