Notice of appointment : Dr. Jehane Dagher joins the REA Foundation’s Board of Directors

During a special meeting held on March 11, Dr. Jehane Dagher was elected member of the REA Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Dr. Jehane Dagher is a physiatrist, head of the medical specialists as well as the traumatic brain injury program at the Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal (IRGLM). She is also an associate professor in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Université de Montréal, where she teaches residents in her specialty and sits on the rehabilitation program committee and the rehabilitation admissions committee.

Dr. Dagher is a consultant at the Montreal General Hospital Trauma Centre as well as a medical examiner at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This organization grants licences to practise specialized medicine in Canada. Dr. Dagher has published over 20 articles on brain injuries in a variety of scientific journals and has given talks to specialized groups nationally and internationally. Moreover, she is often called on by the media as an expert guest to raise public awareness about concussion prevention.
