Scotiabank Charity Challenge
Join the REA Team for the Scotiabank 21k Montreal run
For a second year in a row, the REA Foundation will be one of the beneficiaries of the Scotiabank Charity Challenge, to be held on April 27 and 28, 2019, at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montréal.
We invite you to run to actively support our clienteles living with a motor, sensory or language impairment.
How far will you run?
Choose a distance you find challenging, and register! You can run 5, 10 or 21 km. There’s even a 1-km race for children and a 5-km race for runners with strollers.
Then, ask your friends, family and colleagues to support you in your race, by making a donation to the REA Foundation. You’ll have a donation thermometer to help you track your fundraising progress.
Our common goal is to raise $ 25,000 for the future of physical rehabilitation. With your support, we can do it. Let’s run together!
Get a discount on your registration fee
By agreeing to run to raise donations for the REA Foundation, you’ll receive a discount on your registration fee, depending on the distance and up to $15.
Here is the amount to pay, after the discount. This amount includes applicable taxes and transaction fees.
1-km race for children: $29.65
5 km: $40.94
5-km race for runners with strollers: $52.22
10 km: $52.22
21 km: $74.79
We invite you to register by completing our registration form (in French only) and returning it to us by email.
Considering that the registration fee is not a donation to the REA Foundation, we warmly invite you to make a donation or create a fundraising page to invite those around you to make a donation to the REA Foundation for your race.
What will we do with the donations raised? We will fund concrete and innovative projects of the Institut universitaire sur la réadaptation en déficience physique de Montréal, like Clinique Parents Plus, which has been developing advanced practice for over 20 years, to allow parents with physical and cognitive disabilities to fully assume their role as parents.
