MYKEY Fashion Show x RÉA Foundation

Events
29 April 2026

On April 18, 2026, MYKEY Fashion presented its second fashion show at the Théâtre Cartier in Montreal, in collaboration with the RÉA Foundation.

The event brought together Canadian and international creators around creativity, new talent, and emerging trends.

This year, the RÉA Foundation partnered with MYKEY Fashion to highlight rehabilitation and promote a more inclusive fashion that represents all realities.

An evening marked by inclusivity and representation

In an atmosphere filled with emotion and kindness, professional models with disabilities walked alongside other models, authentically embodying the values of inclusion and humanity dear to the RÉA Foundation.

Among them, the host, speaker, actress and athlete Camille Chai, born with a congenital malformation, lit up the stage with confidence and grace that deeply moved the audience. She reminded everyone that fashion can be a space where every story deserves to be seen and celebrated.

Professional model Éric Trahan, who is deaf, also captivated the audience. His natural elegance and calm presence showed that beauty fully reveals itself when everyone is allowed to exist without barriers or judgment.

Strong mobilization around the cause

The benefit event brought together more than 500 guests, highlighting the importance of the connection between fashion and community.

The evening was also marked by the presence of personalities such as Shawn Burnett, silver medalist at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Paralympic Games and former world para ice hockey champion.

Committed voices

For Isabelle Sicard, Executive Director of the RÉA Foundation, this collaboration represents a meaningful step: “It was a way to stand out and at the same time promote our mission of rehabilitation. It was a great opportunity to highlight social inclusivity in fashion.”

For her part, model Camille Chai shared a powerful message about the meaning of fashion in her journey:

“It is something where we can express ourselves, where we wear our identity, which must be shown just like differences. Fashion, for me, is a way of expressing oneself. I want to show people that they should not be afraid to show themselves as they are.”

A fashion focused on the future

With this second edition, MYKEY Fashion confirms its desire to create spaces where fashion becomes a vector of inclusion, representation, and social change, in collaboration with committed partners such as the RÉA Foundation.

The inclusion of people with disabilities is not only possible, but deeply desirable.

All donations collected during this event will be fully transferred to the Beneficiary Support Fund of the RÉA Foundation. This service directly supports people with disabilities facing financial difficulties. Thanks to these donations, they can receive financial assistance to meet essential needs and give themselves the means to move forward, with dignity and hope, toward greater independence.

The RÉA Foundation thanks its valued partners who supported this ambitious project and the cause of rehabilitation: BCF Avocats d’affaires, BFL Canada services de risques et assurances, Fiera Immobilier and Transport Bourassa.
