The Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal
The Institut de readaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal is the result of a merger in 2008 of the Institut de réadaptation de Montréal and the Hôpital de réadaptation Lindsay.
The IRGLM, Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal is foremost a 164-bed rehabilitation hospital for people with disabilities.
This Institute offers a range of specialized and highly specialized services for people with motor or neurological impairments to promote their autonomy and return home.
As a complement to hospital care, the IRGLM provides highly specialized services at its outpatient clinic while its technical aid department offers personalized prosthetic and orthotic solutions.
Each year, there are over 800 hospitalizations at the Institute and close to 5000 highly specialized outpatient consultations. The prosthetic and orthotic workshop, one of the largest in Canada, provides the following personalized services:
- Hospital rehabilitation care
- A highly specialized outpatient medical clinic
- A vestibular rehabilitation clinic
