2024 Spring Campaign

Through the testimony of Jeanne Carrière, discover an inspirational physical rehabilitation journey. By supporting the REA Foundation during our 2024 Spring Campaign, you can help us continue our mission of supporting our beneficiaries in need.

On December 15, 2021, following an 85-meter fall that broke six of her cervical vertebrae and put her in a coma, Jeanne learned upon waking up on Christmas Day that she would remain quadriplegic. Thanks to the support of the Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal, she was able to return to work shortly thereafter and submit her application to the “Cours écrire ton court” film competition, which she subsequently won.

Each year, paraplegic and quadriplegic individuals, like Jeanne, must relearn how to live after an accident. Support them by donating to the 2024 Spring Campaign via the link below.

The spring campaign is launched!

The REA Foundation relies on your support now more than ever for our spring campaign. With your help, you contribute to our mission to improve physical rehabilitation care.

On June 6, 2021, at just 18 years old, Shawn was in a serious accident. As a result, he became paralyzed from the hips down. However, with the support of the Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal, he managed to turn this tragedy into a challenge.

Each year, about 3,675 new cases of spinal cord injuries, like Shawn’s, are recorded in Canada.

You too can support people like Shawn Burnett by donating to the REA Foundation through our spring campaign:
