About the REA Foundation

REA for rehabilitation…

REA is the story of a merger between the foundations of three rehabilitation centres: the Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal, the Centre de réadaptation Raymond-Dewar and the Centre de réadaptation Lucie-Bruneau.

Our mission

To mobilize the community and support innovative and outstanding projects to improve specialized clinical care, stimulate research and promote the university mission of physical rehabilitation. The objective is to offer people with disabilities at the Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal, the Centre de réadaptation Lucie-Bruneau and the Institut Raymond-Dewar the best level of physical rehabilitation in the world.

Our vision

We aspire to a society where everyone with a disability regains their autonomy and enjoys the best possible quality of life. Our vision is of a Quebec where physical rehabilitation is accessible and effective for everyone, where each and every person can realize their full potential and contribute to a more inclusive and supportive society.
